2. MSVKC Breed Match
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, Mid Susquehanna Valley Kennel Club will be hosting a Breed Match (Conformation, Puppy Sweeps, and Junior Showmanship) at the Middleburg Fireman's Fairgrounds in Middleburg, PA.
From August 24 through 25, 2024, the club will also be holding its 62nd and 63rd all-breed dog shows at the same location. Parking and admission are free. Plus, great food is available for purchase.
3. Lebanon County Kennel Club Show
Mark your calendar for the Lebanon County Kennel Club Show, a dog-friendly event that is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, 2024. The event will showcase many different breeds, some of which you may not be familiar with. Plus, you'll find unique products and services that you won't find in retail stores. The show will be held at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Building, Giant Expo Hall, 2300 N Cameron Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17110.
4. Groom Expo
Mark your calendars for the world’s largest grooming show: Groom Expo. This show is held every September at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This year's event is scheduled for September 5-8, 2024. Groom Expo welcomes thousands of pet professionals and hosts exciting grooming competitions, as well as a weekend packed with extra events.
5. Nita Nee Kennel Club's Agility Trial
On June 1st and 2nd, 2024, the Nita Nee Kennel Club will be hosting an agility trial at the PSU Ag Arena, 800 E Park Avenus, State College, PA 16801, United States. Then on August 3 and 4, 2024, the club will host another agility trial at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre, 177 Champion Drive, State College, PA 16803.
6. CBARRC AKC Lure Coursing Trials
Mark your calendar for the CBARRC AKC Lure Coursing Trials, a dog-friendly event that will take place on June 1st and 2nd, 2024, at Hanover Shoe Farms, 950 Sells Station Rd., Littlestown, PA 17340. The show is hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club.
7. WHWTCA National Specialty
Every year, the West Highland White Terrier Club of America, in conjunction with the Montgomery County Kennel Club, hosts a National Specialty Show, usually on the first Sunday in October. It is an eight-day event during which many Westies will demonstrate their versatility by competing in tracking, agility, earthdog, obedience, and rally. According to the
club's website, plans are underway for their 2024 National Specialty.
8. Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club Show
From May 18 to 19, 2024, the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club will be hosting a Fast CAT event at the Macungie Memorial Park in Macungie, PA. The abbreviation "CAT" stands for Coursing Ability Test, a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. And from December 7 to 8 (Saturday and Sunday), 2024, the club will also host specialty shows at VFKC in Oaks, PA.
9. Clarion Canine Obedience Club Show
From April 19 to 21, 2024, the Clarion Canine Obedience Club will be hosting Obedience and Rally Trials at the CCOC Training Building, 5290 Route 338, Knox, PA 16232.
On May 18 and 19, 2024, the club will host a Fast CAT event. From March 22 to 24, June 14 to 16, September 13 to 15, and November 1 to 3, 2024, the club will host agility trials at the Countryside Agility Training Center, 2323 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
