Assisting Pets Affected by the Israel-Hamas Conflict

On Sunday, Israel declared war in response to an attack by Hamas, the Palestinian political and militant organization currently governing the Gaza Strip. As the conflict escalates, the death toll has surpassed 1,100, and tragically, even innocent pets have not been spared from the violence.

Disturbing footage emerged over the weekend, depicting the heart-wrenching shooting and killing of a dog within the premises of a house reportedly situated in Kibbutz Kissufim, an area adjacent to the Gaza Strip. This distressing incident has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of animals and pets in the region, irrespective of one's stance on the conflict.

Fortunately, there are three organizations actively working on the ground to assist animals in this dire situation. As the conflict persists, I will closely monitor the efforts of these organizations, as well as others, in providing aid.
