A Virginia couple sharing their home with a pack of 30 dogs has revealed the reactions of people who visit them. Toni and Lydia Enright own 30 dogs of different breeds, ranging from Chihuahuas to Dobermans. In addition, the couple owns other domestic animals, including ducks, chickens, a pig, and a cat. This couple is seemingly equal to the task, despite the responsibilities that come with owning just one dog, and they say they "wouldn't have it any other way."

Toni and Lydia Enright reside on a 24-acre farm in Virginia, giving their many pets plenty of space to run around and get their daily exercise. The married duo has a TikTok account under the username @thedogmoms, where they chronicle their daily activities with their pets.

In a recent interview with Newsweek, Toni Enright says she chose this lifestyle following her intuition. She says connecting with animals has always been something her soul desired. Though the couple apparently has no problem living with thirty dogs, they often receive shocked reactions from people visiting them for the first time or their followers on social media.

Toni Enright reveals to the news outlet that "Shock" is typically the emotion of people experiencing their world for the first time. However, she says these people are quickly overwhelmed by the fact that their 30 dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages astonishingly coexist together as one family unit with their cat, ducks, chickens, pig and geese. Toni says many of the dogs are rescues

Some of the couple's dog breeds include a Great Pyrenees, Newfoundland, English mastiff, Belgian Malinois, Weimaraner, Pomeranian, Border Collie, Vizsla, Yorkie, and French bulldog.

According to the couple, people pay them visits every day and they never worry about their dogs acting aggressively toward the visitors. The dogs are always relaxed and respectful whether they know the person or not, they said.

On TikTok, the enthusiastic dog owners have amassed over 600k followers who are fascinated by their way of life. When asked by a fan if each of the dogs knows their name or if they all come running when one is called, the couple answered the question with a video showing the dogs coming one by one as they were called.

In Virginia, the is no statewide law that limits the number of dogs a resident can keep in his or her home. However, there are residential zoning laws in specific municipalities that limit the number of dogs a resident can keep. Most Virginia counties don't allow more than four dogs per household. For instance, in the city of Norfolk, Virginia, residents are not allowed to keep more than four adult dogs and four adult cats in their homes. However, depending on where in Virginia you live and the size of your property, such as Toni and Lydia Enright's, you can keep as many dogs as you want.
